Murano Hatchery (our little slice of heaven) is small family-owned farm located in Boyers, Pennsylvania.
Here on the farm we raise happy chickens, guineas, geese and ducks the way nature intended. Fresh grass, home grown grains, premium feed, natural surroundings and as much sunshine as we can get. We always give our animals the best so they can give us the best. They are raised with love, gentleness and respect. Accommodating for their needs is of the utmost importance to us. No matter what your interest level is… whether you are starting a backyard flock for a hobby or pets like we originally did or are raising a show quality flock like we do now for sale.. raising chickens, guineas, and ducks is quite rewarding, fascinating and entertaining. They are great for teaching children responsibility, having fresh eggs and organic fertilizer and pest control for your yard or garden.

Guineas
Guineas will rid your flower beds of insects, mainly Japanese Beatles, and to eat nasty TICKS! The guineas won't harm the flowers or flower beds.
Silkies
The Silkie breed has soft, fluffy plumage and black skin. They are very broody and great mothers and commonly sit on eggs that aren't theirs!
Duccles
We have the Mille Fleur variety here at our farm. They feature feathered legs and a very sweet personality!
Maran
We have several varieties of Marans including Black Copper Marans are one of the rarest breeds of chickens in the US.
